As each batch is poured through this range in descending order, the larger trichomes range at the high end while finer heads are collected below. The 90u, which represents 90 microns to the next bag of 104 or 119, is the ideal size range that produces the cleanest resin. Ideally, this will be the peak level of ripeness for the trichomes when aroma and taste are at their greatest.
